biography
I completed my Art training in Coventry and High Wycombe then gained a Masters degree in London. I started to exhibit my work in 2002 after retiring early from teaching. My work is mainly in Kent. I use a variety of venues such as restaurants, cafes and offices for other displays. Exhibitions in Cologne, Vienna and Jersey have resulted in large private collections there.My work varies from the contemporary through to abstract colour work, catering for a variety of tastes,but more recently I been developing a deeper understanding of serious abstraction with intensely personal use of colour and form.
My studio is open to the public during South East Open Studio events (June) and in conjunction with Canterbury Festival Artists Trail(October) and other times by appointment. Disabled access, ample parking, and a warm welcome!
