Sailing series

I was first influenced by Lyonel Feininger to paint sails, his use of colour and shape I found quite stunning.I have since developed my style to try and achieve the movement in the water, the atmosphere of the wind blowing out the sails and the excitment of racing through the waters. Even when yachts are becalmed they have a certain majesty.
